At the conclusion of The Bahamas Faith Ministries International 2014 Global Leadership Forum, his son Myles Munroe Jr. offered a statement  on behalf of his family.

"I would like to make it known that while we are grieving our losses and are deeply saddened by this tragic event, we have never been nor will we ever be or feel hopeless," Munroe said.

Ministry leaders say Dr. Munroe's vision and legacy will live on.
