WATCH: Bold Cheerleaders Pray Despite Atheist Threats and School Ban

For decades, announcers at Oneida High School football games said an invocation over the PA before football games. Then atheists and the ACLU complained about the Oneida, Tennessee, school's practice.

The prayer was replaced with a moment of silence. Oneida High School's bold cheerleaders are praying anyway.

"He called for the moment of silence and I started off, 'Our Father who art in heaven' and everyone joined in," Asia Canada told WBIR. "I never prayed in front of a big crowd before. I am just used to 15 girls and my coach."
