California state lawmakers have been pushing through legislation that blurs gender rules for youth groups, schools and sports teams.

One state Assembly bill, AB 1266, would give teenage boys and girls who "identify" with the opposite sex, full access to sports teams and facilities normally reserved for the opposite gender. That includes showers, bathrooms and locker rooms.

Another bill in California's Senate, SB 323, could revoke tax-exemptions for non-profit youth groups like the Boy Scouts and private religious schools that do not embrace homosexuality or gender identity claims.

The Pacific Justice Institute has launched a campaign to fight these bills.

For more on what they could mean for young people and religious groups in California, CBN News spoke with Pacific Justice Institute's Brad Dacus. Click play to watch that interview.
