Ron Luce’s daughter Hannah was involved in a plane crash in Southern Kansas on Friday night. Four others died in the crash.

Luce is the founder of Teen Mania, a worldwide youth ministry that has reached millions of youth through conferences, short-term missions trips and camps. Hannah Luce was a recent graduate of Oral Roberts University (ORU).

“There were four other people involved in the accident—all of them connected to ORU,” says Jeremy Burton, a spokesman for ORU. “The ORU team worked with the police through the night to help them contact family members. Dr. Rutland and Dr. Steve Greene were in contact within hours of the crash as well.”

Stephen Luth, Luke Sheets, and Austin Anderson, all three recent graduates, and Garret Coble, a former instructor in the College of Business, have died. Hannah has been hospitalized.

“Mart Green has flown to Kansas City to be with the Luces,” Burton says. “We ask that you please pray for all of the families that lost loved ones, for Hannah in the hospital, and of course for our brother, Ron and the entire Luce family. Pray for God’s peace and healing to be with all of them.”

According to Tulsa World, the plane reportedly took off from Jones Riverside Airport around 3:45 p.m. and was bound for Council Bluffs, Iowa.
