With the Democratic National Convention set to begin at 4 p.m. EDT Monday, evangelist Franklin Graham is calling on all Christians to join him in prayer.

"We need to ask forgiveness as a nation and to pray that our leaders, Democrat and Republican, would look to God for wisdom and direction," he said.

The prayer will be led on a live Facebook video feed, beginning at 2 p.m. (that's right now). Click here to participate in the prayer group. Shortly after the video ends, it will be archived and available for viewing at the same link.

"In 1970 my father, Billy Graham, called on all Americans to raise their voices in dedication to God and to recommit to the ideals and dreams for which our country was founded," Graham added. "I'm doing the same ...

"Our country is in serious trouble, and we need to raise our voices in prayer and recommitment to Almighty God. He's the only One who can turn things around."
