The Federal Bureau of Investigation has given its reopened investigation of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s private email server while secretary of state “very high priority,” according to media reports out of Washington, D.C.

Also according to those reports, FBI sources claim to have evidence—with about 99 percent certainty—that Clinton’s server was hacked by at least five foreign governments and information stored on it was taken. Writing for townhall.com, Guy Benson reported:

    1. The Clinton Foundation investigation is far more expansive than anybody has reported so far and has been going on for more than a year.
    2. The laptops of Clinton aides Cherryl Mills and Heather Samuelson have not been destroyed, and agents are currently combing through them. The investigation has interviewed several people twice, and plans to interview some for a third time.
    3. Agents have found emails believed to have originated on Hillary Clinton’s secret server on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. They say the emails are not duplicates and could potentially be classified in nature.
    4. Sources within the FBI have told him that an indictment is “likely” in the case of pay-for-play at the Clinton Foundation, “barring some obstruction in some way” from the Justice Department.
    5. FBI sources say with 99 percent accuracy that Hillary Clinton’s server has been hacked by at least five foreign intelligence agencies, and that information had been taken from it.

Benson’s “Tip Sheet” article is worth a full read. But it’s hardly alone in the cacophony of competing headlines today—none of which are particularly good for Clinton or her aspirations to win the White House in next Tuesday’s general election.

Here are some of the bigger headlines, as of right now:

  • State Department Emails Found—According to CBS News, sources in the FBI say at least some of the 650,000 emails are directly related to Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state.
  • More Agencies Are Investigating—According to The Dallas Observer, the IRS field office located in Dallas is investigating “pay-for-play” corruption allegations involving the Clinton Foundation.
  • The Final State Department ‘Doc Drop’ Before the Election—The State Department made its final court-ordered “doc drop” of Clinton emails prior to the Nov. 8 general election on Thursday night, a few hours earlier than expected.
  • Bigger Than Watergate?—Among the State Department emails was one chain that discusses the theft of a hard drive from the National Archives that contained emails and other documents related to the Clinton White House.
