If Sunday’s debate between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his Democratic Party counterpart, Hillary Clinton, wasn’t enough evidence the gloves have come off in the 2016 presidential race, his campaign’s latest TV ad definitely is.

The new 30-second spot, titled “Dangerous,” features images and video of Hillary Clinton during her recent health issues. It also includes narration in which her alleged foreign policy failures are recounted:

Our next president faces daunting challenges in a dangerous world.

Iran promoting terrorism, North Korea threatening, ISIS on the rise, Libya and North Africa in chaos.

Hillary Clinton failed every single time as Secretary of State.

Now she wants to be president.

Hillary Clinton doesn’t have the fortitude, strength or stamina to lead in our world.
She failed as Secretary of State.

Don’t let her fail us again.

This ad will air nationally and will be heavily rotated into battleground states. The Trump campaign has not said how large the buy will be, but has simultaneously launched a new round of fundraising focused on an “advertising blitz” ahead of next month’s general election.

The campaign, in announcing the new ad, included a comment from U.S. Army Reserve Maj. Gen. Bert Mizusawa (ret.), former Deputy Director for Strategic Initiatives to the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The Hawaiian-born general also served as the reserve assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and as commander of the Combined Joint Interagency Task Force-Afghanistan.

He is one of nearly 200 former flag officers who have endorsed Trump’s candidacy:

“There is no reality in which Hillary Clinton is fit to serve as Commander-in-Chief,” Mizusawa said. “Her decades-long involvement in domestic and foreign affairs has endangered the lives of our United States Armed Forces and our people, and the weak leadership under Clinton-Obama has diminished our stature on a global scale.

“Even the casual observer can see her lack of stamina has such a great effect on her already poor decision-making ability, that should she become president, the world would become an even more dangerous place.”
