Israel, ‘The Apple of God’s Eye’
It’s been known for centuries as a land flowing with milk and honey. That rings true even today as the nation miraculously reassembled after more than 2,000 years as a world leader in many industries such as agriculture, medicine, science and technology.
Yet, Israelis still face rejection and deep hostility from much of the world.
But Why the Hatred?
No other people has been persecuted more than the Jews. Sadly, anti-Semitism is raging and rising, even in the 21st century, with much of it aimed squarely at Israel and despite the many wonders that have come from this country as small in size as New Jersey.
Whether it’s the rise of the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement, the constant terror threats and attacks or repeated vows from its enemies that it should be wiped off the map, it seems Israel has to continually defend itself. As the only true democracy in the Middle East, Israel has time and again proven its allegiance to freedom-loving nations, including the United States.
Why I Stand With Israel
As a believer in Yeshua (Jesus), I could not simply sit idly by and take in all the lies and rumors spoken about a nation that holds a special place in the heart of the God I serve! So, with the prodding from YHWH Himself, I was emphatically determined to make sure the truth is told by sounding the alarm to all who love Israel. It’s time we boldly take a stand for her.
Hence, the vision of the Why Stand With Israel documentary was birthed. This past spring, I was fortunate to visit the land to begin filming this beautifully crafted landscape that is rich with such history and biblical emphasis. With biblical prophecy unfolding before my eyes, I could not help but truly wonder what it was like to live here when Yeshua did. One still senses His presence even today.

Why Stand With Israel also addresses some misconceptions that the media and some of Israel’s enemies have fabricated, as well as the church’s acceptance of replacement theology. The intent is not to condemn the church but rather to edify the truth of God’s Word pertaining to Israel and why the body of Yeshua should stand with her.
