There’s Power When Gentile Leaders Own the Reconnection Between Israel and the Church

As we quickly approach the last days before Yeshua/Jesus returns, the mystery to awaken and restore Israel into the family in the One New Man, becomes paramount in God’s glory plan to establish His kingdom upon the earth.

In this light, the Holy Spirit is shifting His focus onto a very necessary spiritual restoration that must occur between Jew and Gentile members of the family of God, so that His end-time plan can be realized through us. We call this the Reconnection, where both groups are intricately linked and greatly in need of one another, yet presently, the family of God is quite divided and separate.

As a result, I am beginning a new series called, “What Is the One New Man?” In these articles we will explore and re-examine the pertinent Scriptures on the One New Man, as well as issues relating to Israel and the church, and we will interview leaders from both sides of the family to gain a better understanding.

However, the main goal is to help bring the body of Messiah/Christ into a greater unity and depth of understanding of this mystery; not through a Gentile or Jewish lens, but rather through our Father’s eyes, who longs for His family to be one and to be united into His end-time purposes and plans. In order for us to be mobilized us into the Frey (John 17:23). 

Powerful Testimony on the Reconnection

Last month at our Messiah’s House meeting in Greenwich Connecticut, our worship leader, Dominick Crincoli, shared his heart on the Reconnection message between Israel and the church and his perspective from the Gentile side of the family. Dominick is also a deacon and board member at Harvest Time Church, one of the fastest-growing churches in the metro New York area. Harvest Time is the congregation that very graciously provides space for Messiah’s House, so we can have a beautiful sanctuary in which to hold our meetings.

As one of the Jewish believers in Yeshua/Jesus who carries the Reconnection message and blows its shofar, I have been saying for a while now that Gentile shepherds and leaders need to take ownership of the Reconnection before it can take root in the family of God. We still have a long way to go in this regard, since the church has been predominantly Gentile for so long, and has lost its perspective and connection to its Jewish roots and heritage.

We believe the Israel piece is the final piece in the church’s restoration to its five-fold apostolic roots; to help prepare the family of God for the coming of the Lord, and that nothing short of this will do. These may seem like strong words, but there’s a vital spiritual reconnection in the family of God between Jew and Gentile that must take place in and through us during these last generations so that our Father may carry out His plan to glorify His Son upon the earth.

In fact, I believe God has so designed it that during these days of the unveiling mystery to gather the last great harvest on the earth, so it says all Israel will be saved (Rom. 11:25-32). And the two are intricately linked together, not only in a realignment back to our Jewish roots to properly reflect the kingdom and its Commonwealth, but more importantly an end-time push through intercession and evangelism “that the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, how perfectly wise He is when all His family-Jews and Gentiles alike-are seen to be joined together in His church” (Eph. 3:10 NIV, NLT).

This is God’s plan now, just as it was when the Gentile side of the family was birthed into the kingdom and the first family mystery was made known to us, which was hidden from previous generations. I have other sheep who are not of this fold. I must also bring them, and they will hear My voice” (John 10:16), Yeshua/Jesus said to the Pharisees. And now He says the same thing to the church regarding His mystery to awaken Israel that His irrevocable promises and covenants to restore His firstborn children would come to pass (Rom. 11).

Except now the shoe is on the other foot, and the tables have been turned. Indeed that there are great similarities that one can draw here of blindness and misunderstanding between the Jews then and the church now, as to how they responded and are responding to the ingathering and timing of the different children into the family of God. Isn’t that interesting?

As one from the Jewish branch of the tree, I can blow the shofar and sound the alarm, but until our Gentile leadership takes full ownership of this message and gently guides the flock into a complete reconciliation of the One New Man between Jew and Gentile, this restoration and reconnection will not happen in the way it was intended to happen.

There’s a power key called Israel that the church has not yet unlocked. But as it does and begins to focus on Abba’s heart to awaken His firstborn children to complete the family of God, there will be a natural outflow of awakening from the nations and the last great harvest on the earth, which is inextricably linked to this focus.
