Robert Jeffress: We Need to Address the Evil Religion of Radical Islam

Certainly, prayer is a necessity for responding to the tragedies in Paris, Pastor Robert Jeffress says, but our faith requires more of us.

“I believe it is time for us to lay aside political correctness and identify the belief system that is responsible for these horrific acts,” the pastor says. “And that is the evil, evil religion of radical Islam, and that is the belief system that inspired this tragedy.”

Jeffress’ statement was met with thunderous applause from his congregation.

The video from his sermon opening isn’t the first time the megachurch pastor addressed the violence radical Islamists have committed against Christians.

“These terrorists are Islamic terrorists, doing what they’re doing in the name of their faith,” Jeffress said in a previous report for Charisma News. You cannot find one single verse in the New Testament that calls for violence against non-believers. Jesus said to love your enemies. Muhammad said to butcher your enemies.”

Now, he’s calling for action.
