The Idol of Secularism Must be Toppled

Has the Supreme Court invented their own theology to defend their decisions?

The secular U.S. Supreme Court invented their own theology and religion in 1963, in an 8-1 decision, which unleashed on America a malignant, evil religion: Secularism. It has borne much fruit:

“The distinctiveness of marriage has been abolished (Baird v. Eisenstadt); prayer and Bible reading in schools has been stamped out (Abington, Schemp, et al.); the mother’s womb has become the most dangerous place for a baby (Roe v. Wade, et al.); the rights (but not the duties) of fathers and parents of minor girls have been voided (Planned Parenthood v. Danforth); divorce has become easier than marrying; the Ten Commandments have been banned from public view; and now the natural distinction between male and female is being abolished (Goodridge, Lawrence, etc.). The Pledge of Allegiance is forbidden; the Boy Scouts are under attack; and Christmas carols are banned. Pornography is everywhere.”

Even lone dissenter Justice Potter Stewart foresaw the reality on that awful day: “[The decision] led not to true neutrality with respect to religion, but to the establishment of a religion of secularism.”

This struggle for the soul of America is merely the ongoing battle since the beginning of time, “man says” or “God says.” God has said multiple times over thousands of years that homosexuality is wickedness* — just like stealing or committing adultery, it is sin—but to double-down the U.S. Supreme Court, in its omniscience, sanctioned and legitimized homosexual marriage in 2014 as a diverse and acceptable lifestyle, well inside the cultural norm.

Bucking 500 years of established law, the U.S. Supreme Court over the last half-century has initiated, “not just a political change, but a fundamental transformation of the entire political and social order.”**

Philipp Melanchthon, friend and collaborator in the Protestant Reformation with Martin Luther, “For just as there are in theoretical disciplines, such as mathematics, certain common principles, common concepts, or assumptions, such as that ‘the whole is greater than the parts,’ so there are in morals certain common principles and first axioms which constitute the ground rules of all human functions. These you will rightly call the laws of nature.”***

“God says” or “man says” is the choice facing America. “We the people” must hold the Judicial, Legislative and Executive Branches of government accountable or be ready to answer to God; this is our point of no return. The secularist ideology is more than a mere political philosophy, dueling for ideological supremacy, it is a Weltanschauung (a worldview), a religion. Secularism—the false idol instituted by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1963—has finally bloomed, blossomed and produced fruit; it’s stench is nauseating.

The good news is that Jesus has not left His bride, the church. We just need a Gideon or Rahab the Harlot to stand. In God’s unchanging order, if America is to be saved, it will be done by men and women of Issachar, who know the times and know what to do. It’s true that we’re not much, not too many of us are mighty, just the type of people that God Almighty—Jehovah—needs so that we, the victors, glorify Him in our weaknesses.
