Mass murder could soon become a stark reality in Northern Ireland. That’s because Belfast is allowing the first private abortion clinic to open its doors there.
According to the Associated Press, the Marie Stopes clinic next week will begin offering non-surgical abortions to women whose pregnancies are less than nine weeks in gestation. Only women whose pregnancies doctors deem dangerous to the mother’s physical or mental health will be receive the miscarriage-causing medication. Of course, that’s an open invitation for unscrupulous doctors to give the nod to any and all abortions.
The abortion industry sees a huge opportunity in Belfast because it will draw women from across the nation. Statistics from the United Kingdom’s Department of Health reveal that at least 4,000 women from the Republic of Ireland traveled to England and Wales last year to have an abortion.
“This is an attempt by Marie Stopes to challenge the pro-life ethos and to try and circumvent the laws,” Niamh Ui Bhriain of the Dublin-based Life Institute, told Reuters. Marie Stopes clinic insists it will work within the law.
But it’s a slippery slope. Once you open the door for abortion, or any sin, you let give the enemy an invitation to wreak his havoc. Abortion is murder. If you murder a grown woman, you can spend life in prison. If you murder a pre-born child—and Marie Stopes brags on its website about preventing about 4.5 million “unintended pregnancies” in 2011—you collect a few hundred dollars.
Marie Stopes, which has set up its dens of death in 42 nations, also estimates a woman dies every 11 minutes from an unsafe abortion. The abortion clinic sets itself up as a savior, of sorts, for women who want to kill the life inside them instead of risking their own with a do-it-yourself abortion. But Marie Stopes and abortion clinics like it are not saviors. They are cold-blooded killers. Jesus is the only Savior.
Belfast Christians, it’s time for you to rise up and shut this thing down, in the name of Jesus! It’s time to let your voice be heard. Don’t permit abortion clinics to start spreading as quickly as fast food restaurants in your nation. Don’t follow in the footsteps of Orlando, which recently saw kill-your-baby-for-free day massacre dozens of babies. Take a stand for righteousness and put an end to abortion in your nation now, before you face the same uphill battle we do in the U.S.
