The enemy can’t do anything to us directly, but he does and can use people to hurt our feelings, cause rejection and offense, and build up spiritual strongholds as a result of emotional trauma. The enemy uses people to do his dirty work.
There is a saying we said as children, “sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me.” Actually, words do hurt. Words destroy. Words tear down, but we can uproot the power of the words that hurt by speaking out positive proclamations and canceling the assignments sent forth in the spiritual realm.
