Pop star Justin Bieber has become increasingly vocal about his Christian faith in recent years, and this Easter, he wanted to set something straight: Easter is about one thing only, and that’s Jesus Christ.

In an Easter Instagram post, the singer declared that “Jesus has changed my life.”

“Easter is not about a bunny, it’s a reminder that my Jesus died on the cross for my sins and then rose from the dead defeating death!” he wrote. “I believe this happened and it changes everything! I am set free from bondage and shame.”
