Worship leader Chris Blue took home The Voice crown and had his rendition of a powerful praise song debut on the top gospel charts all in the span of a few days.

"When I think about the goodness of my Jesus, it excites me," Blue says. "Tears begin to well up in my eyes because He's been so good."

Blue, of Team Alicia (Keys), previously performed "Take Me to the King" to land a spot in the finale. The same song debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Gospel chart.

Anne Graham Lotz, Billy Graham's daughter, was just one of many wowed by what she saw on stage.

"Who would think that a performance on The Voice would express what so many of us are feeling? Thank you Chris Blue Live. And God bless you for so eloquently and passionately focusing on our hearts desire for the King," Lotz writes on Facebook.

Blue plans to use his winning cash to provide his cancer-stricken fiancée with the wedding of her dreams.

"My fiancée, she called me in tears about a month ago, because we just did not have the money" to afford a nice wedding, he says." We had to take a lot of things away from our already-stripped-down wedding. We didn't even have wedding (invitations). Couldn't afford it. The church wasn't even going to be decorated. Couldn't afford it."

Now the couple can have the wedding of their dreams.
