It has been less than a year since Reba McEntire divorced her husband and manager, Narvel Blackstock, but she says she's doing just fine.

Fox News reports the country singer credits her well-being to her faith in God.

The country singer told Fox411, "Without (faith), I don't know what I would have done."

"I guess I would have been a puddle on the floor. You've got to have somebody to talk to. And God is my therapist and best friend. I love the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind and strength, " she added.

"My faith is the most important thing in my life. I don't know how I would get through the day or even a moment without a relationship with God," McEntire continued. "That is the first thing I do in the morning is thank Him for a good night sleep and I say good morning and I'm thrilled He is going to guide me through the day."

E! News reports McEntire's divorce was finalized in October. She and Blackstock were married for 26 years.

In a March phone interview with CMT Radio Live, McEntire said the divorce was not something she wanted.

"I didn't want it in any shape, form or fashion. So it was really hard to make the adjustment. When someone's not happy, I just want everybody to be happy in their lives because our lives are too short to be miserable, so I just thought it was the best thing to take my marbles, go play somewhere else, is what Daddy used to always (say)," McEntire said.
