The superstar revealed how the Christian community developed her as a person and a broadcaster in a new trailer for Belief.
Meanwhile, other celebrities have a different perspective, such as Justin Bieber comparing going to church like going to Taco Bell.
"You don't need to go to church to be a Christian," he tells Rolling Stone. "If you go to Taco Bell, that doesn't make you a taco."
But for Winfrey, church attendance holds significance: "Church was our entertainment," Winfrey says. "Church was our comfort, and church was our sanctuary."
