Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband, Derick, have left the United States with their little boy for a long-term mission trip.

With the support from their family, which has weathered Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation reports in recent months, the young family has entered the mission field.

“Earlier this year God brought about an opportunity much earlier than either of us was expecting,” Derick Dillard says. “Several months ago a new opportunity arose for us to serve God on the mission field. Before us we had a choice to make that would undoubtedly change the trajectory of our lives forever.”

Watch the video to see how the Duggar family is dealing with the goodbyes.
