If a movie was directed by God, what would it look like?
Filmmaker Darren Wilson, who created the popular Christian documentaries, Finger of God, Furious Love, and Father of Lights, has just released the teaser trailer for his new film, Holy Ghost, and it is nothing if not ambitious.
Featuring striking imagery and a promise to prove that the Holy Spirit is real, Holy Ghost pulls no punches in its first taste of the film.
Using the popular crowd funding platform Kickstarter, Holy Ghost quickly became the most funded Christian film in Kickstarter history, raising nearly $360,000 in a little over a month.
The film, shot over 7 months and featuring a wide ranging cast of characters, from Lenny Kravitz, to the heavy metal band Korn, to CCM fixture Michael W. Smith, will be available for an Online Digital Premiere on August 9, with an American Tour running from September 6 through October 10.
