Boxer Evander Holyfield, who is currently appearing on the U.K.'s Celebrity Big Brother, has been reprimanded for statements he made regarding homosexuality.

In a discussion with Luisa Zissman, the 51-year-old was asked whether any boxers had come out as gay. He told the former Apprentice star that doctors can fix homosexuality.

"The Bible lets you know what's wrong and what's right," Holyfield said.

The former boxer was brought into the show's Diary Room, where he was told his behavior was unacceptable.

"While Big Brother understands these are the views you hold, they aren't the views that are held by a large section of society, and expressing these views will be extremely offensive to many people," a producer explained.
